This course is for you if you:
This course fits with the hectic 21st Century lifestyle by running it's two lessons on one day, with a break for lunch around the wonderful Royal Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens, just opposite The Royal Albert Hall.
It doesn't matter if you haven't skated before, or have but are struggling, as this lesson goes from the beginning: you learn to skate forward, stop safely using the heel brake, and gets you doing some simple turns. All fundamental skills that you'll build on in your skating future.
This is where I refine those beginner skills you have to get you looking a bit more polished. We'll make the turns more stylish, we'll go a little bit faster for less effort, and hills will start to look less scary. It will be intensive but you'll leave with the skills and drills necessary to really get skating.
I'm sorry but, at the moment, I have not scheduled this course. If you visit the course calendar you should be able to find scheduled courses that may appeal to you in the meantime. Please check back regularly, or subscribe to the RSS feed for up-to-the-minute updates.
If you and 3+ friends want to try this course you can contact me and I can arrange to run it for you.
This is the website of Matthew Denner, a UK based inline skating instructor. If you're looking to start skating, or improve your current skills, you should take a look around to see what I have to offer.
I try to make my courses goal oriented, whether that is being part of the larger street skating community, or just getting a number of skills that combine well together. I cater for all skill levels, from complete beginner through to competent skaters. When teaching private lessons I treat you as an individual, catering for your abilities and learning rate. And with those courses and lessons my students get their own students area page with access to notes, tips and drills.
For information on the lessons and courses I teach, or advice on skating in general, please feel free to use the contact form.
My service provider moved access to my website and I didn't get informed, hence the massive gap in updates to this site.
